Since its inception in 1962, we have taught thousands of students across India.

Bombay Judo Club is affiliated to Mumbai Judo Association and Judo Federation of India as being one of the oldest Judo Institution in India.

It was started in 1962 by Late Sensei N.T Bangera.

We are currently teaching Judo at a vast number of Schools and colleges in and around Mumbai

We have a team of around 25 coaches and presently train 1500+ Judokas at our various centers in and around Mumbai

Founder of Bombay Judo Club

Bombay Judo Club was established in 1962 by Late Sensei N.T. Bangera – 5th Dan Black Belt, one of the Pioneers of Judo in India. Bombay Judo Club is the leading Body in the promotion of Judo & combined Martial Arts in the Country. Judo means “The way of Gentleness”, this is also our motto, and exactly what we try to impart to our Students. Being established in 1962 we have the requisite teaching experience to put our motto in practice. We have the distinction of producing numerous International, National, State, College and School Champions. Our academy also conduct specialized courses for Organizations, amongst; these have been Maharashtra Police, Mumbai Police, Corps of Military Police

Late Sensei Manohar Narayan Bangera was a 7th Dan Black Belt of International Judo Federation and Judo Federation of India. 
 
He was born on 9th October 1958 and was the Technical Chairman of Judo Federation of India and Jury Member of Judo Union of Asia.
 
 He has been National Champion several times and was also awarded the  Scientific Judo Player at a National level competitions.

Director Of Bombay Judo Club

Sensei Yatish Bangera is currently the director of Bombay Judo Club and holds the 7th Degree Black Belt from Judo Federation of India and International Judo Federation.

He has been 3 times National Champion and numerous time state champion.

Along with this he is an International Referee and has been to various international judo tournaments as a referee.

Also he had been involved in framing of Sports Policy for the Government of Maharashtra.
